Fed: Senate committee to examine aviation regs from 1991: Crane
The chairman of the Senate committee which will investigate Australia's aviation fuel
scare says he's concerned regulatory changes made nine years ago may underpin the current
crisis.
The Senate Transport Committee will today be given the first opportunity to quiz expert
evidence into the Mobil avgas contamination which has grounded thousands of small planes
in eastern Australia.
One of the first witnesses at the hearing in Parliament House in Canberra will be the
chief executive of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, MICK …
